Born in Argentina but now residing in the USA, Gustavo H Leibaschoff is a global pioneer in the fields of aesthetic medicine, liposculpture and Cosmetic Gynecology, with over 30 years’ experience in these areas (and 40 years in medicine). He is dedicated to the improvement and development of techniques and methods and the improvement of this medical field through education and training, with an emphasis in safety for both patients and physicians. He has vast experience in working with manufacturers of medical equipment, providing scientific advisory services to help improve the product and to help physicians better utilize it to get the best results.

 

Gustavo H Leibaschoff was the first president of the Argentinian Association of Aesthetic Medicine (first in all the Americas under the International Union of Aesthetic Medicine). He is a member of the Argentina Medical Association and the Argentine Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was the first professor of aesthetic medicine in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires. He is the Founder of the International Union of Lipoplasty. He has been made Honorary Member of both the French Society of Aesthetic Surgery and the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery. 

He is a Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, as well as of the scientific committee of the World Anti-aging and Cosmetic Surgery Congress (Monaco Montecarlo). He is President of the International Union of Lipoplasty and General secretary and founder of the World Society of Cosmetic Gynecology.

 

He has delivered courses and trained doctors on Aesthetic Medicine, Cosmetic Surgery (Lipoplasty, Liposculpture and Lipoinjection), contact Maid Central sutures for skin support (face andbody) and Cosmetic Gynecology around the world, the focus of his courses being about how physicians can improve the efficiency and security in the cosmetic surgery procedure.

In Aesthetic Medicine, Cosmetic Surgery and Cosmetic Gynecology his focus is to teach about modern physiopathology and how physicians can make a comprehensive treatment. This knowledge will allow physicians to make the needed corrections in treatment for the different steps in development of the patients’ aesthetic pathologies.
